Almost 1!!!!!

I can't believe that my baby is almost 1! It makes me happy and sad; knowing that he is my last baby. I am soooooo incredibly blesses with the children I have and I look forward to the years to come. I wonder what they will be like when they grow older. Will Kaleb still be that silly boy that he is today? Will Ry still be such a free spirit with her little sassy walk? Will Dyllan still love to smother me with kisses until there is slobber running off my chin? So baby boy, here is to you, my last baby, to your brother, and your sister. I love you all with every ounce of my heart!

Hey Jen,
Your children are amazing...and beautiful! I got your comment on our blog and thought i would answer your question. Kiersten has glasses because of a lazy eye mainly. She alway tilted her head to look at people from the time she was born I told the doctor but she didn't do much at first...then at her 6 month appt the pediatrician said it was very evident and wasn't getting better so she reffered us to a pediatric eye doctor. She diagnosed Kiersten with a lazy left eye. and also found out that she is slightly more far sighted than normal (all babies are far sighted a little bit).
Anyhow with time in the glasses it will correct the lazy eye and as she gets older hopefully her far sightedness will get better. they will look at her in 6 weeks and then again when she is 1 year old. If her lazy eye isn't better by then they may want to do surgery...but we would get a second oppinion before doing that. Anyhow we are taking it ond day at a time... or should i say one min at a time with the glasses. Sometimes she does well and other times she has them off every couple min. We are going on 45 min right now without her touching them... so hopefully today will be a good day!!
